One Chickie and a Butterfly

Abi and JD didn't do a whole lot of trick-or-treating, but they had a fun night dressing up and visiting MomMom and PopPop's house and Great Grammy's house.

Small Game

Zach took Zipper along hunting today and got his first pheasant! We baked it for dinner, and it was good (for a rubber chicken). Actually it tasted quite good, it was just a little chewy.

Apples, Apples and more Apples

Last week we went to a local farm to pick some crispin apples. Abi had more fun eating than picking, but that's how it was in the summer with the blueberries too.

We made mostly applesauce with all the apples we picked, but of course we had to have a couple yummy pies too! Abi had a lot of fun stirring and sprinkling the sugar.

Zach has been archery hunting for a couple years and finally tonight he got one with his bow! He went hunting for a couple hours this morning til it got too cold, then he went out hunting again tonight at our cousin's farm, about 15 min away from where we live.

New Hampshire

Had to share a couple shots of special daddy/daughter bonding time...

Zach and I along with the kids and my parents went up to New Hampshire last week. We had a lot of fun hiking around the White Mountains area for a couple days, but most of the time we stayed in a cabin (a very COLD, unheated cabin) in the southeastern part of the state.

Four months old!

JD is one happy four month old baby! He had his 4-month check up on Tuesday and he's a hearty 17lb 12oz. He just loves to smile and laugh when anyone talks or sings to him!
